As a designer, I've had the opportunity to dabble in various areas of design including but not limited to identity, brand strategy, environmental design, UI, UX and print.

I received my MFA in graphic design in 2012 from the Academy of Art University here in San Francisco where I have been living and working for the past 8+ years. During the majority of that time I have worked as a freelance designer with a 3-year stint at Gensler. While at Gensler, I was a member of the brand design studio where I gained experience in environmental design, brand strategy, signage and wayfinding, vendor management and the value of precision and prototyping. Since leaving Gensler in 2016, the majority of my most recent work is confidential with clients listed. This work includes service design on various levels, presentation design, UX and UI design and illustration.

What I enjoy most about design is the ability to solve for any number of challenges, finding that sweet spot whether it's with a simple layout, an identity, an ideal user experience or even just visualizing an idea or concept in a way that is clear and concise.

When I'm not in front of my computer, you can find me reading The Crown (based on the Netflix series but fills in the gaps), jogging (in the midst of learning how to run at altitude), at the grocery store (one of my favorite places), reading the NYTimes daily briefing or watching reruns of The Office.
